Former DUP leader Jeffrey Donaldson and wife face historical sexual offense charges

Former Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) leader Sir Jeffrey Donaldson appeared in court alongside his wife, Lady Eleanor Donaldson, facing charges of various historical sexual offenses that date from 1985 to 2006. The case involves two alleged victims. Sir Jeffrey Donaldson, now resigned from the DUP and suspended, is charged with rape, indecent assault among other allegations.
