On Sunday, in the West Portal area of San Francisco, a Mercedes SUV driven by 78-year-old Mary Fong Lau, a local resident, crashed into a bus stop resulting in a tragic event where two adults died at the scene and one woman later succumbed to her injuries in the hospital. Additionally, an infant involved in the incident has been hospitalized in critical condition. Following the crash, Lau was arrested and is now facing three counts of felony vehicular manslaughter alongside charges of reckless driving causing bodily injury. A vigil, organized by Walk San Francisco, took place at the site of the crash where the local community gathered to pay their respects to the victims.
