Man sentenced for severe road rage incident in Milton Keynes

Nikesh Mistry, a 34-year-old man, has been sentenced to four years and 10 months in prison following a severe road rage incident in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. The event, which led to a motorcyclist and another vehicle’s passenger sustaining serious injuries, occurred after Mistry repeatedly attempted to force the motorcyclist off the road using his BMW. This dangerous maneuver culminated in the motorcyclist being hurled off a bridge into undergrowth below and also resulted in a head-on collision with another vehicle. Mistry pleaded guilty to two counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and one count of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. In addition to his prison sentence, Mistry has been disqualified from driving for nearly five years and will be required to pass an extended retest before he can regain his driving license. The incident has been highlighted by the police as an extreme case of road rage, with PC Phil McGlue of Thames Valley Police condemning Mistry’s actions as a violent escalation of a road disagreement.
