The assault involved a physical attack on a woman in her 40s, who was wearing a hijab, following a verbal altercation. The attack, which took place in front of the victim’s children on a busy high street, resulted in the victim sustaining facial injuries.
Authorities, emphasizing the seriousness of the incident, particularly the impact on the victim’s children, have classified it as a hate crime. The Metropolitan Police have released an image of the suspect, appealing to the public for assistance in identifying her.
