Indiana Pacers edge out Milwaukee Bucks in overtime thriller

In a closely contested NBA Eastern Conference first-round playoff game, the Indiana Pacers defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 121-118 in overtime, taking a 2-1 series lead. The game took place in Indianapolis, underscoring a significant win for the Pacers. Tyrese Haliburton starred for Indiana, recording a triple-double with 18 points, 16 assists, and 10 rebounds, including a decisive three-point play in the final moments of overtime.
The Bucks faced a setback with the absence of Giannis Antetokounmpo due to a strained calf, leaving an increased burden on other players. Khris Middleton stepped up for Milwaukee scoring 42 points, supported by Damian Lillard who added 28 points. However, their efforts fell short against the Pacers’ strong team performance.
Myles Turner also played a pivotal role for Indiana, contributing 29 points and nine rebounds. This victory marked the Pacers’ first postseason series lead since 2018, much to the delight of the home crowd.
Looking ahead, both teams are preparing for Game 4 in Indianapolis, aiming to either extend or even out the series lead.

These results push Dallas and Minnesota to a 2-1 and 3-0 series lead respectively.
