In Queensland, Australia, a woman, now aged 30, has been charged with the murder of her three-month-old daughter, which occurred over a decade ago in September 2011. Initially, after the baby was found unresponsive in Redland Bay, south-east of Brisbane, investigations did not lead to charges. However, fresh information received early in 2024 prompted authorities to arrest the woman in Kingston under Operation Whiskey Magra. Charged with a domestic violence-related murder, the accused, who was 17 at the time of the incident, faces legal proceedings that are complicated by her age at the time of the alleged crime.
